The port of Veli Lošinj (φ = 44 ° 31.3 'N; λ = 14 ° 30.1' E) is located on the eastern shores of the island. The port of Rovenska is located to the south of the port, and can also be considered the port of Veli Losinj. The area of Veli Lošinj port consists of the coastal part and the associated waters. The port consists of the wharf and a boat port. The wharf extends on the east and west coast of the port in a total length of 170 m. Depths along the coast are from 2.5 to 3 m and it has the capacity of mooring 5 smaller ships. The inner part of the port is a harbor with communal berths for boats. The port is sheltered by a pier with a berth capacity of 40 boats. The length of the port is 130 m and the depths along the coast are from 1 to 2 m. All parts of the port are of the massive type of construction of stone and concrete and are in good condition for use. The port is equipped with a red port light on the south side of the port entrance. The port has a connection to the road, city water supply and electrical installations. The port with communal berths is protected from all winds, while the wharf is exposed to winds from the north.
