Lovran guc "Pantigana", registration number OP 207 from Opatija is 5.15 m long, 1.77 m wide, with a draught of 0.38 m. This boat was built in Lovran in 1968 by the famous shipbuilder Ivan Nino Gašparinić. Today she is owned by Arsen Dobrijević from Čavle. Lovran guc is a boat of fine curved lines created in Lovran. The people of Lovran, but also the inhabitants of the Opatija Riviera and even Kvarner, call her guc (Lovran guc or "Lovranka"), although according to the typology she belongs to the gajeta. The boat, such as the Lovran guc "Pantigana" from Opatija, has a rounded bow and oval stern, and a high and beautifully executed continuation of the stem, the so-called “nose”. The bow is decked up to 1/3 of the length of the boat, and at the stern she has a transverse thwart continuing into two longitudinal thwarts that connect at the stern. Lovran guc "Pantigana" has one mast and is sailed with the main mainsail and a jib. In history, these boats were used not only for fishing but also for tourist trips between Opatija, Lovran and Mošćenička Draga. Today she is used for the promotion of the Kvarner maritime heritage and participation in events and regattas of traditional boats throughout the Adriatic.
