Opis
The port of Portić is located in the extreme northwestern part of the Bakar Bay at the foot of the old town of Bakar at the geographical position φ = 45 ° 18.4'N, λ = 014 ° 32.1'E. The harbour is a small basin protected by an L-shaped breakwater on the east side. On the west side, a smaller breakwater was built in the extension of the coast, clearly shaping the entrance to the port basin. The depth in front of the entrance to the port is 3 to 4 m, while along the shores of the port the depth ranges from 2.5 to 1 m. The port has an approximate berth capacity of 25 boats. Near the harbour there is a small basin in which spring water is collected so there are trout in it. The port is well sheltered from the waves and is exposed to the bora, which often reaches gale force in the winter months. The port is connected to the road network.
